Are you Bored? A Guide to Enjoy the Lock-Down
Staying at home all day/week can be tiring and exhausting, here is what we can do to make the most of this lockdown especially if you are a student and not a worker.
Read a book
I know, you weren’t expecting this right? Well, reading a book every day will help to keep you busy and create an expectation for the next day. You can read several books for free on the AnyBook app. It is available on google playstore and Apple stores as well.
Learn a skill
I cannot emphasize this enough, learn a new skill constantly, take a learning path and stick to it until you have mastered it. Not only will you be productive, but you would also have added to your knowledge by the time this lockdown is over.
You can workout at the comfort of your home with and without equipment. Staying fit is very essential for your mental health and physical well-being as well. If you do not have a workout routine you can download a workout app for yourself anytime on Google playstore and Apple stores for free
Listen to music
This is my personal favorite listen to music always. You can download them on the internet or use the boom play app.
Subscribe to Netflix today and get a full list of wonderful movies you can watch and have a good stay at home experience.
You can watch cooking videos on you-tube and try out new cooking recipes and more food variety. this will help you to release the stress of staying at home all day and create new expectations for the next day.
Friends can make this stay at home very bearable, engage your friends on social media on several discussions that you find interesting. Chat them up constantly, make a workout challenge, reading challenge and lots more
Do your laundry regularly
This lock-down period can be an excuse to avoid doing your laundry, well, this should not be the case, always do your laundry even if it’s just a handful and always keep yourself clean as well as your surrounding.
Play a variety of games like chess, scrabbles, word puzzles, candy crush, ludo, snake and ladder, soccer, monopoly, and any game you have in your phone or your cabinet. You can also play hide and seek with your kids and have a good time with the whole family.
Furthermore, you can also do some other things like bake, go jogging round the house, read and read again. Don’t forget to comment on what you can do to enjoy the lock-down.
